The War of 1812

The War of 1812 was a strange, short war between the United States and England that lasted from 1812 (what a surprise!) until 1815.  It is called a strange war because:

1)  the war started after our main problem with England had been settled.

2)  the last battle of the war was fought after the peace treaty had been signed.

3)  neither side won or lost any territory after the war was over.
